English (Periods 1, 2, 3, 5B, 6, 7, 8):
Monday (01/02): No
School
Tuesday (01/03): Draft
of narrative is due today. Students will work with a partner to peer edit and
revise the narrative using the checklist to make sure all narrative elements
are present.
Wednesday (01/04): Finish
revising using checklist, and students will use computers to begin typing the
final copy of the narrative. When finished, they will turn in the final and
first draft of the narrative. The narrative is due on Monday (01/09).
Thursday (01/05):
Computers to type final copy of the narrative. Students will also be given a
study guide for the mid-term exam. We will discuss what will be on the exam in
class today.
Friday (01/06): Computers
to finish typing the final copy of the narrative. Students may work on the
study guide and getting ready for the midterm exam if they are finished early.
Essential Questions: Unit One in Textbook – What are some of the milestones on the path
to growing up?
