Monday (01/16): In-Service
Day
Tuesday (01/17): Students
will complete common core companion lessons on active vs. passive voice and
using ellipses.
Wednesday (01/18): Midterm
exams
Thursday (01/19):
Students will begin the next unit in the Pearson textbook. As a class, we will
examine the unit introduction video and goals. Students will assess their
levels with the specific areas within this unit. We will then examine the
academic vocabulary for the unit.
Friday (01/20): Students
will examine the launch text for the unit, “Freedom of the Press.” As a class,
we will complete the activities within the textbook for the launch text.
