Study Island: New topic: Varied Sentence Structure: Lesson and individual practice (due Tuesday – end of day).

Tuesday (10/29): Bell ringers; Selection test on the short story, “The Setting Sun and the Rolling World” on Pearson. When finished, students should complete test corrections and turn them in.
Study Island: Individual practice: Varied sentence structure – finish for today. Vocabulary jam – argument unit terms.

Wednesday (10/30): Bell ringers; Unit 3 introduction – Class poll; “What matters” questions and discussion; p. 255 – 257 (goals and ac. Vocab. – vocab. Squares)
