       English 7 – Review new vocabulary worksheet and sentences that were for homework, notes on noun forms, practice activities on singular and plural nouns, book exercises·        

PSSA English 9/10 – Odd Day GroupsProofread rough draft of essay using the checklist; make changes and corrections as needed on rough draft; begin writing final copy of essay

Tuesday
        
English 7 – Independent practice in book and on worksheets turning singular nouns into their plural forms.

         PSSA English 9/10 - Even Day Groups – Proofread rough draft of essay using the checklist; make changes and corrections as needed on rough draft; begin writing final copy of essay

Wednesday
   
 English 7 – Jeopardy review game; review homework; notes on possessive nouns
       
 PSSA English 9/10 - Odd Day Groups  – Turn in final copy of essay, as well as work that goes along with it; sample PSSA test (Rachel Carson reading passage with multiple choice questions and open-ended question).

Thursday
       
 English 7 – Vocabulary quiz for unit 5; SSR; vocabulary units 1-4: Review on PPT; sentences for vocabulary
        
 PSSA English 9/10 - Even Day Groups – Turn in final copy of essay, as well as work that goes along with it; sample PSSA test (Rachel Carson reading passage with multiple choice questions and open-ended question).

Friday
        
 English 7 – Review vocab. on PPT; read part of short story together out loud and part silently for SSR; journal entry
        
PSSA English 9/10 - Odd Day Groups – Discuss talking to text notes on passage from last class; discuss responses to open-ended question and review multiple choice questions for feedback; students will then complete lessons 13-16 in the PSSA book, focusing on poetry and poetic devices.
