text, “Harriet Tubman.” Students will complete the context clues activity
for vocabulary terms from the text. They will also complete multiple choice
questions on the text for comprehension check. As a class, we will discuss
the text and completed activities together. Students will turn in
completed work today for “Harriet Tubman.” (Essential Question: How do we
use context clues effectively to determine the meanings of unfamiliar
words in a text?)
