Monday - No School Today



Tuesday
• English 7 – Review vocabulary packet for unit 27 – Students will review the definitions, worksheet, and sentences for the vocab. #27 packet; if time permits, students will then work on completing the review sections from the textbook on pg. 350-351 on prepositions; test on prepositions, conjunctions, and interjections will be on Friday

• PSSA English 9/10 - Odd Day Groups – Students will work on writing the rough draft of their movie review. They will then peer edit with a partner (proofread and revise the essay) before starting their final copy which is due on Thursday

Wednesday
• English 7 – Review vocabulary lesson #27 by playing Jeopardy review game; As a class, we will discuss the review section for prepositional phrases and prepositions (p. 350-351); we will also review conjunctions and interjections in preparation for the test which will be on Friday

• PSSA English 9/10 - Even Day Groups – Students will work on writing the rough draft of their movie review. They will then peer edit with a partner (proofread and revise the essay) before starting their final copy which is due on Friday

Thursday
• English 7 – Vocabulary Quiz on lesson #27; Students will then look up definitions for the new list of words (lesson #28), and complete the worksheet and sentences for the new list

• PSSA English 9/10 - Odd Day Groups – Students will complete a lesson from the PSSA grade 11 book on analyzing characterization; as a class, we will discuss the elements of the lesson and then students will complete pages 132 - 137

Friday
• English 7 – Students will take a test on prepositions, prepositional phrases, conjunctions, and interjections; after completing the test, students will write a journal entry in their journals and turn them in for review

• PSSA English 9/10 - Even Day Groups - Students will complete a lesson from the PSSA grade 11 book on analyzing characterization; as a class, we will discuss the elements of the lesson and then students will complete pages 132 - 137
