Monday
·         Academic English 9 – Students will take a quiz on Vocabulary lesson 15A and then define the terms for lesson 15B. Students will also be given the worksheet to complete for lesson 15B and write sentences for this lesson on their own. When finished, students will continue reading Act 3, scenes 4 and 5 together as a class. Students will complete the study guide questions and discuss these when finished reading.

·         Practical Literature 11 – Students will discuss the Hamlet, Act 2 study guide questions together as a class. Students will also finish watching scenes from Act 2 of Hamlet in the film version.

·         Y.E.S. - Students will discuss notes on business etiquette and diversity and workplace safety. Students will explore these topics further by completing group activities together.

Tuesday
·         Academic English 9 – Check vocabulary definitions; review definitions, worksheet, and sentences for vocab. lesson 15B. Students will also review Act 3, scenes 4 and 5 by discussing the study guide questions together. Students will begin to review for the test on Act 3 by completing an activity on imagery and allusions for homework.

·         Practical Literature 11 – Students will review for a quiz on Hamlet, Act 2 by playing a review game together as a class. Students will take a quiz tomorrow on Act 2 of Hamlet. Students will also finish watching scenes from Act 2 of the film.

·         Y.E.S. - Students will continue to explore diversity by working in groups to discuss what diversity means and how we are all different. Students will also discuss notes on sensitivity and diversity and we will discuss key laws involving diversity.

Wednesday
·         Academic English 9 – Students will review for the test on Act 3 of R. and J. by discussing the imagery and allusions worksheets together as a class. Students will also watch the remainder of Act 3 in the film version of R. and J.

·         Practical Literature 11 – Students will take a quiz on Act 2 of Hamlet. Students will begin reading Hamlet, Act 3 together as a class with assigned reading parts. Students will also discuss study guide questions for scene 1 of Act 3.

·         Y.E.S. - Students will discuss notes on sexual harassment together and what can be done to help stop it in the workplace. Students will also discuss violence within the workplace by analyzing notes and completing group activities together.
Thursday
·         Academic English 9 – Students will take a quiz on Vocabulary lesson 15B and then define the terms for lesson 16A. Students will also be given the worksheet to complete for lesson 16A and write sentences for this lesson on their own. When finished, students will finish watching scenes from Act 3 (if necessary). Students will finish reviewing for their test on Act 3 tomorrow.

·         Practical Literature 11 – Students will continue reading Hamlet, Act 3 together. Students will also watch scenes from Act 3 in the film version. Students will work in small groups on the study guide questions for Act 3.

·         Y.E.S. - Students will take a quiz on appropriate workplace behavior. After the quiz, students will score their quizzes and examine how they did overall. Students will then begin the next session on substance abuse by discussing notes together as a class.
Friday
·          Academic English 9 – Students will take a test on R. and J., Act 3. When finished, students will continue reading Act 4 together as a class. Students will then work in small groups on the study guide for Act 4.

·         Practical Literature 11 – Students will continue reading Act 3 of Hamlet together and by listening to the audio book version. Students will then watch scenes from Act 3 to analyze.

·         Y.E.S. - Students will continue to discuss notes on substance abuse together. Students will then take a quiz on the facts about prescription drug abuse. As a class, we will discuss the results of the quiz together. Students will also complete a group activity on the difference between IQ and EQ (emotional intelligence).
