Monday
·         Academic English 9 – Check vocabulary definitions; review definitions, worksheet, and sentences for vocab. lesson 11A. Students will also review the grammar exercises from the textbook on page 151 on regular and irregular verbs. Students will then watch scenes 1 – 3 of Act 1 for Romeo and Juliet.

·         Practical Literature 11 – Students will review for a quiz on Act 2. Students will also finish watching scenes from Act 2 in the movie, The Crucible.

·         Y.E.S. - Students will discuss and examine examples of flow charts and how they are used as tools. Students will also create a flow chart for an activity or process. Students will then begin session five on conflict management. Students will discuss notes on conflict management

Tuesday
·         Academic English 9 – Students will read scene 4 together as a class with assigned parts. In small groups, students will complete the study guide questions for scene 4 and we will discuss these as a class for review. Students will also be assigned a “Facebook” project and will begin working on this in class.

·         Practical Literature 11 – Students will take a quiz on Act 2 of The Crucible. Students will then begin reading Act 3 of the play together as a class with assigned parts. Students will work on study guide questions with a partner.

·         Y.E.S. - Students will take the Wonderlic Personnel Test for the program certification. Students will also discuss notes on organizational responses to conflict and personal responses to conflict behavior.

Wednesday
·         Academic English 9 – Students will read Act 1, scene 5 together. Students will also work in small groups on the study guide questions for scene 5. As a class, we will discuss these questions together. Students will continue working on their “Facebook” project with their partners.

·         Practical Literature 11 – Students will continue reading Act 3 of The Crucible together as a class. Students will also work on study guide questions in small groups.

·         Y.E.S. - Students will begin session six on Leadership. Students will take notes on leadership and discuss myths that hinder leadership development. Students will also discuss the 7 types of power and will complete an activity on these types of power in groups.
Thursday
·         Academic English 9 – Students will take a quiz on Vocabulary lesson 11A and then define the terms for lesson 11A. Students will also be given the worksheet to complete for lesson 11B and write sentences for this lesson on their own. As a class, we will also discuss the next section on verbs. Students will take notes and complete practice exercises in the textbook.

·         Practical Literature 11 –  Students will continue reading Act 3 of The Crucible together as a class. Students will also work on study guide questions in small groups.

·         Y.E.S. - Students will complete a leadership activity in groups and discuss the results together as a class. Students will also discuss ethical qualities of leaders together as a class and complete an activity in groups.
Friday
·          Academic English 9 – Students will work with their partners on the “Facebook” project, which is due next week. Students will then view scenes 4 and 5 of Act 1 in the movie, Romeo and Juliet. Students will have a test on Act 1 next week.

·         Practical Literature 11 – Students will review Act 3 of the play by discussing the study guide questions together as a class. Students will also compare the written play to the film version of The Crucible by watching scenes from Act 3.

·         Y.E.S. - Students will begin session seven in the teamwork module (generational diversity in the workplace). Students will take notes and discuss these as a class. Students will then complete an activity on “values through the years.” Students will also complete a group exercise on generations in the workplace and discuss results.
