• English 7 – Vocabulary packet – Unit 24: Review definitions, worksheet, and sentences for vocab. #24; review for test on modifiers tomorrow

• PSSA English 9/10 – Even Day Groups – Students will finish the lesson from the PSSA book on Main Idea and Supporting Details and Essential and Non-essential information (p. 73-79); students will then continue on to the grade 11 PSSA book and begin a lesson on analyzing bias and propaganda (p. 23-28)

Tuesday
• English 7 – Test on modifiers (adjectives and adverbs); extra credit poster assignment due today; journal entry after test is complete; if time permits, students will be introduced to a complaint/concern letter assignment

• PSSA English 9/10 - Odd Day Groups – Students will finish the lesson from the PSSA book on Main Idea and Supporting Details and Essential and Non-essential information (p. 73-79); students will then continue on to the grade 11 PSSA book and begin a lesson on analyzing bias and propaganda (p. 23-28)

Wednesday
• English 7 – Students will work on writing the rough draft of their letters; Jeopardy review for vocab. Unit 24

• PSSA English 9/10 - Even Day Groups – Students will complete lessons 5 and 6 from the grade 11 PSSA book on making inferences and author’s purpose (p. 29-40)

Thursday
• English 7 – Quiz on vocab. Unit 24 words; Definitions, worksheet, and sentences for vocabulary list 25

• PSSA English 9/10 - Odd Day Groups - Students will complete lessons 5 and 6 from the grade 11 PSSA book on making inferences and author’s purpose (p. 29-40)

Friday
• English 7 – Students will begin a unit on prepositions and prepositional phrases; Notes on prepositional phrases (prepositions and objects, p. 326 -328); practice exercises in textbook and worksheet for independent practice

• PSSA English 9/10 - Even Day Groups – Students will complete a section in the grade 11 PSSA book to practice test-taking strategies. Students will complete p. 47-54 in the book to gain independent practice for the PSSA test on previous sections that we have studied and discussed.
