Monday

·         English 7 – Review vocabulary unit 12 definitions, worksheet, and sentences; discuss the 5 by 5 personal essay which is due tomorrow

·         PSSA English 9/10 – Even Day Groups – Students will go to the library to type their final copies of the informational essay and upload them to an online wiki.

Tuesday

·         English 7 – Notes on personal pronouns; independent practice with personal pronouns; notes on subject and object pronouns; independent practice with subject and object pronouns

·         PSSA English 9/10 - Odd Day Groups – Students will go to the library to type their final copies of the informational essay and upload them to an online wiki.

Wednesday

·         English 7 – Jeopardy review game; review any homework from yesterday; notes on pronouns in compound subjects and objects

·         PSSA English 9/10 - Even Day Groups  – Students will work from the PSSA book on lessons 15 and 16 (analyzing characterization and analyzing dialogue and motivation).

Thursday

·         English 7 – Vocabulary quiz for unit 12; unit 13 – definitions, worksheet, sentences

·         PSSA English 9/10 - Odd Day Groups –  Students will work from the PSSA book on lessons 15 and 16 (analyzing characterization and analyzing dialogue and motivation).

Friday

·         English 7 – Review new vocab. on PPT; complete notes for pronouns in compound subjects and objects and practice independently; notes on possessive pronouns and practice exercises; notes on interrogative pronouns if time permits; re-test for nouns test will also be today for certain students

PSSA English 9/10 - Even Day Groups – As a class, we will discuss the two lessons completed from the book (lessons 15 and 16). Students will then work on lesson 17 in the PSSA book on analyzing plot.
