Monday (10/7): Bell Ringers; Podcast (The Others) and discussion questions; Test on letters (Just be yourself and You are the electric boogaloo) will be on Wednesday; review is tomorrow
Study Island: Individual practice session – Figurative meanings in literature and informational texts (due Thursday)

Tuesday (10/8): Bell ringers; Review/check answers for work on Unit 1 letters (small group work); Test is tomorrow on Pearson Realize. Vocabulary.com – jam for vocabulary in letters

Wednesday (10/9): Bell ringers; Selection test for letters in unit 1 small group learning section (pearsonrealize.com) and test corrections
Study Island – Individual practice: Figurative meanings in literature and informational texts (due tomorrow)

Thursday (10/10): Bell ringers; Begin rotation 2 of small group learning – Day 1: (Poetry Collection 1: Hanging Fire and Translating Grandfather’s House). Read poems together as a whole class and work together in small groups to complete pg. 60 – 64 in book and practice pages in packet. Students will receive the study guide today as well. All work must be done by end of class on Thursday, Oct. 17th. Review day is Friday, Oct. 18 and test will be on Monday, Oct. 21st.
