Monday

·         Academic English 9 – Check vocabulary definitions; review definitions, worksheet, and sentences for vocab. lesson 13A. Students will also review Act 2, scenes 1 and 2 by discussing the study guide questions together.

·         Practical Literature 11 – Students will work in small groups on the character scrapbook project for “The Crucible” on theipads.

·         Y.E.S. - Students will complete a group activity involving interview skills. Students will work together to develop interview questions and participate in a role playing interview activity. As a class, we will discuss interview tips and analyze the results of the activities performed during class.

Tuesday

·         Academic English 9 – PSSA testing schedule: Students will watch scenes from the movie “Romeo and Juliet.”

·         Practical Literature 11 – PSSA testing schedule: 7^th period will not meet today.

·         Y.E.S. - PSSA testing schedule: 3^rd and 6^th periods will not meet today.

Wednesday

·         Academic English 9 – PSSA testing schedule: Students will watch scenes from the movie “Romeo and Juliet.”

·         Practical Literature 11 – PSSA testing schedule: 7^th period will not meet today.

·         Y.E.S. - PSSA testing schedule: Students will begin session eight (job search techniques). As a class, we will discuss job search methods, what works, what doesn’t work, etc.

Thursday

·         Academic English 9 – PSSA testing schedule: Students will watch scenes from the movie “Romeo and Juliet.”

·         Practical Literature 11 – PSSA testing schedule: Students will finish their character scrapbooks on the ipads today and submit them via online dropbox.

·         Y.E.S. - PSSA testing schedule: Students will work on the job search activity on computers.

Friday

·          Academic English 9 – PSSA testing schedule: Students will watch scenes from the movie “Romeo and Juliet.”

·         Practical Literature 11 – PSSA testing schedule: 7^th period will not meet today.

·         Y.E.S. - PSSA testing schedule: Students will continue the job search activity from yesterday. Students will work on completing the charts for each activity.
