·         English 7 – Review vocabulary units 4 and 5 on PPT for test tomorrow; review sample sentences for vocabulary terms; collect homework sentences

·         PSSA English 9/10 - Even Day Groups – Write definitions for unfamiliar literary devices from survey and discuss terms on survey. Begin working on lessons 13-16 in the PSSA book (poetry).

Thursday

·         English 7 – Vocabulary test on units 1 – 5; Vocabulary unit 6 words - look up definitions and create images for each; vocab. worksheet, and creating sentences for each word.

·         PSSA English 9/10 - Odd Day Groups – Write definitions for unfamiliar literary devices from survey and discuss terms on survey. Begin working on lessons 13-16 in the PSSA book (poetry).

Friday

·         English 7 – Review correct vocabulary definitions on PPT; journal entry and SSR (short story in literature book); graphic organizer for short story

·         PSSA English 9/10 - Even Day Groups – PSSA sample test: Read a poem and use talking to text strategy while reading critically. Students will then complete multiple choice questions that follow and one open-ended question.
